Backfire do nothing against Ring of Fire monk boss, because hex only last half duration on Mursat bosses.
A trick with Backfire is using it without any points in Domination. Not many people check to see how much dmg it does and would stop casting. Does not work against a complete noob though. |

Still, backfire may not be efficient enough, may not be the best thing to cast, but I would like to try it, maybe tonight, and see what happens. Echoed backfire and guilt? Maybe the boss could heal himself to death? Be interesting to try. |

Anyhow, as I mentioned above, for a monk boss I use Power Block not backfire. This keeps normal NPCs from casting for 14 sec, so a boss would be down for ~7sec. Remember this elite stops ALL healing spells (spells of same attribute), then hit him with Wastrel's worry and Energy burn! |

The other good elite for warrior/rangers is signet of midnight. They are blinded for 15sec, but I prefer ineptitude also. Last edited by ChoKILLate[FDG]; Oct 21, 2005 at 01:32 PM // 13:32.. |
